Sounds like a hybrid of what would happen if you dropped a drug cold that was a neuroleptic and/or a benzodiazepine. Any particular reason why you would want to go off the Lyrica -- was it helping your anxiety, was it causing intolerable side effects, beyond the ones that seemed to have crept in now that your brain is reeling from a sort of withdrawal (Its C-V, considered the lowest form of potential habituation.)I would be forthright with your doctor and return to the original dose and if you really don't want to take it, it seems that you're going to have to follow instructions on how to discontinue it, that is if it seems to the both of you, or him especially from observing you, that it hasn't had any major benefit.
As for how long it will last -- who knows, especially if you have other things on board. The brain doesn't particularly like severe interruption and psychotropic time lags behind any discontinuation or increase, harsh (!) or targeted. It could be many weeks at that dose, reducing your functionality, which personally though I don't advocate having 15 medications on board if they're not needed, if they are needed, why create a self-flagellating situation.
-- hope you feel better
