Hi,
Sounds like your BP runs fairly low. Mine is borderline high without Nardil(140/80), with Nardil it runs about 132/72. My orthostatic hypotension went away fairly quickly after I started Nardil. One case report in PubMed has a woman treated successfully for hypotension with salt tablets.

Department of Psychiatry, University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington 06032.Orthostatic hypotension, a serious, frequent side effect of antidepressant medication, can be severe enough to require cessation of medication. The authors report three cases of antidepressant-induced orthostatic hypotension treated with sodium chloride. In two of the cases, the use of sodium chloride allowed the patient to continue antidepressant treatment at a therapeutically effective dosage. The authors discuss risks and treatment of orthostatic hypotension.

On 30mg my pressure drops from its usual 140/100 to 70/40.. it causes a lot of blackouts/fainting. My doctor and psych both say there is nothing they can do to increase my pressure and pulse to normal other than using stimulants but no one around here will have anything to do with such a thing. So i was wondering, and i did ask my psych about it but he pretty much looked at me like he would kill me if i tried it :) what abut trying to get my pressure back to normal by carfully taking something with the nardil... something like psydoephedrine or other things you arn't meant to take with it (tyramine rich food ect)... do you think it's possible if carefull enough to balance it so i can get my blood pressure and heart rate back to normal levels whilst on the nardil ?
