> Okay, so I'm bipolar and have been having a serious depressive episode. I have barely kept myself together taking the following hot mess of a diet:

> 60mg Remeron
> 60mg Cymbalta
> 600mg Bupropion SR
> 200mg Lamictal
> 1,500mg Depakote
> 60mg Propranolol (for tremors due to all of the above)

He's one of the premier P-Docs in the city (everybody knows his name) and I really do trust him but I still thought it was an odd choice for a sleep aid!You can go up to about 150 but beyond that it becomes a serotonergic agent and that's a lot of serotonergic agents. Also underlying things can be a sleep disorder all by itself.
The Wellbutrin, which I can't judge that you may need that high of a dose sounds like it certainly could make sleeping difficult and its not surprising that 30mg of Ambien or that high of a dose of Lunesta would be ineffective.
Sometimes one just has to adjust their natural cycle of sleeping, which can take many days admittedly, staying up long enough so you get tired at the right time, cutting down on caffeine, etc, trying to avoid naps and all and getting in a bit of exercise.
Trazodone became basically ineffective for me even with Seroquel and various other things on board.
I used to take Trazodone way back, it worked better for that condition but I was always backtracking between 50 and 150 because I got used to a dosage.
As they say, your miles may vary
