I don't think size is important. I only weighed 85 pounds and I was taking between 80-100 mg.

Since you are only on 40 mg, you can play with the dosage and see if that helps. Or you can Provigil for some energy and it also has an antidepressant effect.

> Hi all, I need some advice. I have been taking Parnate (40mgs) for about 2 years. It helped my depression lift a little bit (I am functional), but it also has had it's drawbacks. My sleep is crappy and lately I have been finding it harder and harder to concentrate, also been feeling the brain fog. I have also been feeling a bit more depressed and I am scared that I slipping backwards into deppression. The brain fog and depression could mean I need a higher dose of parnate to clear my mind and bost my spirits, or perhaps the parnate is making these things worse. So i need to decide either to start to increase the parnate to 50 mgs or decrease it to 30 mgs. Any thoughts on this? Anyone? Also I weigh 215lbs, so perhaps I need more parnate because of my size? I don't know though.
