Hi sweeperguy,
> -do you have any special diet that you follow for weight gainI really haven't been very successful with the Nardil induced weight gain. It seems to slow my metabolism plus cause the cravings for sweet carbohydrates. I do eat as many vegetables as I can and have cut out most all white foods(these seem to be the most processed).
> -do you use any vitamins
I take one multivitamin per day. Nardil can cause B6 deficiency. I take fairly high doses of Omega-3 fatty acids. 1800mg of EPA plus 1200mg of DHA. This is mostly for cardiovascular health. It does not seem to help my mood much. I also take about six heaping teaspoons of psyllium husk daily. My combination of meds gives me chronic diarrhea and the high dose of psyllium gels the bowel movement. Don't take this within a couple of hours of taking your medications as it can make your meds pass through too fast and not absorb completely.
> - do you get cramps in your legs
My legs get sore from exercise, but I rarely get cramps. The exception is if I'm working off a ladder most of the day. This causes me to tense my leg muscles and then I can get cramps at night. Does not seem to be related to the Nardil.
> -what time of day do you take your meds
I split the Nardil 45mg in the morning and 45mg at night. The clonazepam and quetiapine I take at night to help with insomnia
Take care and be well,
Jedi
