Lately I have noticed that if I have a few beers (meaning anywhere from 1 to 5), it doesn't take much to set me off temper-wise. I've never been like this when I drink, medicated or not. The outbursts happen with very little provocation, and are difficult to control and understand. I don't feel like myself when this happens, and I certainly don't feel good about my behavior. It's hurtful to the people closest to me and I'm growing frustrated.

Maybe you could try another AD. Or, if the Wellbutrin is 'really' helping your depression then cut back on the drink.
Also, some alcoholic drinks (cider, 'snakebite', etc) have a reputation for making people aggressive. Maybe change what you drink?
Another thought is that Wellbutrin shares some actions of cocain & amphetamines (they all inhibit reuptake of NA/NE & DA, the difference being that cocain & amphetamines also increase the release of NA/NE & DA but Wellbutrin does not - I think!). Both cocain & amphetamines are notorious for causing violence when combined with alcohol.
Just something to think about.
