In reply to On Wellbutrin....CAN'T QUIET MY THOUGHTS??, posted by SometimesBlue on September 12, 2007, at 8:37:09

This is fine during the day, but when i want to go to sleep at night, it's like i have to focus on something else to not "think"...like seriously quiet my thoughts. It's very annoying to say the least.

You just had a baby and are predisposed to PPD, esp. since you have been on medication prior to your pregnancy, right? Are you a new mother? Is there anyone who can help with the baby during the night? I suffered from severe PPD after my son was born. My thoughts were racing 24/7. If it gets severe enough that it is interfering with your sleep and daily life for more than 2 weeks, you need to get some help. You may need a different AD or an add on to the wellbutrin. I was on a small dose of a benzo and I had no problems waking up to tend to my son during the night. Are you able to get out at all and exercise? This is very important since your body is sending signals that you are under stress.
Hope this helps.Polarbear
