Yes - the urologist tells me that it is IC (a bladder condition), and she can give me Elavil for it.

But, whenever I stop taking the SSRIs or the SNRIs the painful/inflammed bladder goes away.

My urologist said she sees a lot of women who are on antidepressants with these problems - especially Lexapro.
