Klonopin for migraines?

I had a migraine yesterday (triggered I know by the BLAZING sun here)and nothing would touch the pain (and I don't like narcotic analgesics).

I finally took a klonopin (0.25 mgs) thinking I would just fall asleep, but the pain went away.

Anyone else have any experience with this?
