> I'm probably worrying for nothing.Valium metabolizes into other active substances (e.g. oxazepam and temazepam), some of which have very lengthy half-lives. As do, in turn, the various inactive metabolites of the active metabolites. In a sense, the fact that someone had used Valium weeks back might be detectable by analysis of the urine (I'm thinking hypothetically, as the concentration of metabolites does fall to incredibly low levels over an extended timeframe), but the functional/active effects would disappear in days.
If you can continue using them as needed, the long-term metabolites issue is of no relevance.
