I'm just coming up to 2 weeks on Nardil 15mg 3 times per day. I must admit I feel groggy and sedated, esp in the morning. Does anyone know if this goes away, or if there is anything that takes it away (eg Periactin)? Someone posted a warning about taking some antihistamines with Nardil, but I wasn't clear if this included Periactin. Can some knowledgeable person please help?

I've been dysphoric this last week (I came off Effexor cold-turkey nearly 3 weeks ago). Dysphoric I take to mean hypomanic and angry. I wonder if this is Effexor withdrawal or starting Nardil.

Mind you the people I got angry with deserved it. People at work expecting unreasonable things (cos their work's more important than other people's); my wife who deserted me when I was very sick; people who tout cures that don't work. So not manic, merely hypomanic, but dysphoria is not a nice state
Thanks Fred
