I tried to discover how my thought pattern works and I found out the following symptoms.
I keep talking in my head as if I'm simulating a possible situation I can be in. For example, I imagined going to see my doctor and talk about this symptom. Then, I start talking in head going through conversation I give to the doctor. The talk in head is as if I'm actually talking to a person.
Making sound like a conversation is not the only symptom. When I try to think to myself, I tend to make complete sentences (I don't necessarily give extra effort or be obsessed about making complete sentences). For example, supposed I'm trying to buy some bananas from a grocery store, then my thought goes like "Should I buy this bunch or this? Banana is full of potasium. So, I should eat at least 1 per day." The thought not only make a conversation but it wanders around once I come up with imaginary situation.
It really bothers me when I try to sleep and can't fall asleep. I keep talking to myself in head in full sentences of imaginary conversation.
Is this because I type too much on computer or read too much? Like when you're writing or typing something, you read each word you write in head. Or when you're actually reading a book, you say each word in your head, right? My in-head talk feels like that.
I wonder what these symptoms relate to. It's not like some voice asking me to do things, but it's like my imaginary talk in head. I don't really force myself to start this but when I monitor what I'm doing in my head, I'm doing this.
Anyway, could someone please let me know what these symptoms are?
