Here's one thing I like to remind myself about message boards. I visit several- this, depression forums, anxiety boards, diet, fitness, health boards, hobby-related, school/work related...
The ones who tend to frequent these boards are the ones who are not doing well. They are in need of support. They are usually having difficulties with the related topic. People on these boards do not represent the entire world. People come here to vent, to ask for help, to complain with others.
There are people who are doing well on meds who aren't on these boards. There are people who aren't doing well but are not on these boards.
Sometimes we just need to step away from the computer and try to live... not over-think. I don't always do this, and have a lot of free time to post right now. But just think about that. This isn't the real world. Nor do we give fully accurate discriptions of our experiences and moods and lives in writting. It's all subject to style and interpretation.
