Generic does NOT = Brand
My doc always confirms this when I complain about a generic not working well, or differences between generic brands, or success with brand name. By law, they are allowed to have an error of up to 20% in the active ingredients. This doesn't even take in to account inactive ingredients, which can make a difference. Plus, there are many reports of studies and investigations where generic drugs were wayyyy off the mark.
