SSRIs can cause muscle tension in some people. I invariably get tense neck muscles which cause a tension headache as well as jaw pain. Any SSRI will do it to me.

I think in people who have preexisting cervical issues, any tightness in the paraspinal muscles, in particular, can cause problems.

Another SSRI may work better for you, however.
