Bromazepam (Lexotan, Lexomil) and liver

Posted by Franz on November 18, 2006, at 7:24:36

Hello, I searched for bromazepam in this board and read good comments (low sedation, good half life, low impact on memory) about it but then read the Wikipadia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bromazepam and got concerned about side effects:

Leukopenia and liver-damage of the cholostatic type with or without jaundice (icterus) have additionally been seen; the original manufacturer Roche recommends regular laboratory examinations to be performed routinely.

Anyone can comment on this?. Is it really a problem?. Do you really have to check your liver regularly?. Anyone still using bromazepam?.

Thanks
