I have this problem. I'm not sure if it's due to Effexor not not. I have an NTI device that I wear at nice to keep my teeth apart and a soft slpint for durning the day that I can wear if I feel I need to. I wouldn't say going on effexor is the answer. You could also try going for a TMJ massage which focuses on your jaw and neck muscles. I found it really helped. But most definately go talk to your denitist. I would not start effexor for it.
