Proper sleep, Depression and Social Anxiety?!

Posted by Larz on October 1, 2006, at 5:26:22

Hello, I have noticed some remarkable thing about my patterns of sleep and SA. If I go to sleep at the time my body tells me (at about 23:30 or so) then I would wake up at 6:00 -6:30. and if I get out of bed immediately as I wake up then I will have an energized day, SA minimal and no depressive feelings. However, if I just sleep for little more, say 1 hour or even less, then my whole day gets bad, like feeling socially anxious, little depressive, low energy... This gets worse if I go to bed late at night, like 1 or 2 am..

Can sleep have such a dramatic effects?! Any similar experiences?!

For me it looks that I should stick to a pattern of going to sleep at 23 and waking up at 06...

P.S. I get some depressive feelings only if I mess with sleep, but if not then they are no place to be found!

Hope many would share ideas/experiences ! Thanks.
