I've only really tried three SSRIs.

Zoloft? Full blown manic episode ... ah, it was nice to feel happy for once. Then crash. Dry mouth all the time. Stopped it, came back later, nothing but drymouth (no main effects either).

Prozac? YAWN! No reaction of any kind. But that was after starting Wellbutrin, getting psychotic from that, starting perphenazine (about 5-10% of a normal dose for psychotics), getting zombyfied, THEN adding Prozac. My PDoc at the time knew that perphenazine and Prozac don't mix, but he thought the extremely low level of perphenazine wouldn't make it a problem. He was slowly proven wrong. But monotherapy on Prozac after that calamity, and nothing.

Paxil. ROTFLMAO! I'm sorry, I'm sure there must be some people out there for whom this med does some good, but desert mouth, extreme agitation, agoraphobia, visual hallucinations. The withdrawal was awful, but nowhere near as bad as being on it for me.

Yeah, but the sex thing was one common denominator. One.
