You can go higher than 200mg. I have heard of people taking 300mg and even 400mg. At those higher doses, you won't get any more serotonin reuptake inhibition. It is already maxed out. But what you will get is dopamine reuptake inhibition. If you can handle the side effects of such high doses, zoloft turns into a serotonin-dopamine reuptake inhibitor at high doses. I remember one person saying 300mg felt amphetaminish, which makes sense considering its effect on dopamine at that dose.
