Generally, Nardil has more weight gain issues, and Parnate is more problematic from a hypertensive crisis standpoint. Both of them are noted for causing insomnia; although, Parnate is probably slightly worse. Nardil can cause hepatotoxicity, but this is relatively rare. Both are quite good for social anxiety. I personally find Nardil to be a superior antidepressant, but others respond better to Parnate.Todd
