Posted by sdb on July 23, 2006, at 20:33:34

if somebody is interested:

http://medicine.iupui.edu/flockhart/table.htm
http://powernetdesign.com/grapefruit/

note cyp3A4 is enzyme for 55% of drugs in liver and intestinal. SJW is inductor of CYP3A4, CYP1A2 and CYP2C9 with strongest affinity for PXR (Kd = 27 nM).

Always check SJW, St. John's wort (hypericum)
INTERACTIONS, because it is easy available (but/and a useful drug for many people)

nicotine; alcohol; apple, orange jurice and of course there are many other variables including yourself.
