I've had similar problem- my hero doctor finally deduced that too many seratonin drugs were ruining my "sleep architecture", robbing me of the restorative stages of deep sleep. (Even though yes, I slept my 8-9 hours nightly- I was never refreshed.) An official sleep study confirmed his theory. But he did like Wellbutrin for people with sleep issues, saying it wasn't as bad as the others. Ritalin should wear off by bedtime while helping you in the daytime. My hunch, based on my experience, is maybe the Effexor makes your drug mix just too stimulating, harming the quality of your sleep, and hence contributing to daytime exhaustion? Seriously, this is exactly what had happened to me!! You are on plenty of stimulants...I can't imagine how many more one would want to mess with.Wonder what dumping the Effexor and then, if appropriate, perhaps even adding ambien cr would do for you? Can you fall asleep, or is that not part of your problem? I like the ambien cr because it "shuts off" like magic early in the morning when it's time to get up, and I experience zero hangover with it. I don't hope to take it forever though.
Good luck.
