Taken Provigil for about 2 years now. I had a really tough time with it at first and almost gave up on it. Then my doc told me that I could play around with lower doses and timing and its been great ever since. Just when I finally was good with it my insurance stopped paying for it. WHOA!!!!!!!! Big bucks. My doc has been helping me with that with samples and stuff because she knows that its the med I'm most comfortable with and seems to have the least side effects of anything. I'm soooo med sensitive and I tend to have every side effect in the book and the ones not in the book. I have noticed that Provigil will act differently if you are taking something else also. It seems to increase effects of some meds and doesn't seem to work as well if you are taking very sedating meds. It was major trial and error but it is the one thing I'm very comfortable and happy with. NOW....if the insurance companies would start covering it again it would be really great for alot of people. It seems to me to have very little abuse potential compared to some stimulants that are easily covered and unless there is going to be something coming up down the road from long term use it has basically NO side effects once your body gets used to it.
