Hi,
I quit smoking about 6 months ago, after smoking for 25 years, most of that time a pack a day.
I used 2 things that helped.
1) I take 300 mgs of Wellbutrin XL (same drug as Zyban).
2) My state (New Jersey) has a Quit hotline. They give you 4 supporting phone calls. If your state does not have this, 4 visits with a therapist or social worker would do the same thing. It was really helpful. They also send you a package of material on quitting. Which I didn't use.I have tried the nicorette lozenges. Worst tasting stuff ever. And the gum is not much better. Another thing I did was cut down gradually to 5 cigs a day then quit from that point.
Hope this helpsTammy
