My other thought is to use Zyprexa as an antimanic. Both of these drugs also offer antidepressant properties. In fact, they are both known to have produced mania on rare occasions. Of the atypical APs, I believe Zyprexa has the best chance of working. If it does work, and you are unhappy with side effects, then you can try substituting for it by using Seroquel or Abilify in its place.

thanx for the message... Lamictal sends into cycling very quickly.. I've tried Zyprexa and its caused severe sedation.. i'm now on a healthy dose of seroquel, 600mg, so i feel that ive got the atypical angle covered... I'm on 1200mg of lithium as well... its just so strange how i almost feel like mood stabilizers/anticonculsants send me into a strange euphoric state before pooping out on me...
