You say you had a huge lowering of your anxiety? It sounds to me like you might just need a med increase to take care of the depression. What 'might' be happening is that you at understandably down because it hasn't gotten to your depression yet which, of course increases your depression. You didn't say how much Nardil you are taking? You know it's there and it's working; you might just need another week or so to have the full effect kick in. Nardil is also a bit tiring which you might be confusing (and rightly so) with depression. When all you want to do is sleep all day you think you are depressed when you might just be suffering through the temporary side effect of Nardil tiredness. You at least know now that MAOI's work for you so there is always Parnate which works faster and is more activating.

Oh and I checked and the washout between Nardil to Parnate is about 2 weeks on average.
