Is Valium more potent than Xanax?

Posted by rjlockhart on March 31, 2006, at 10:28:11

My doc said he doenst or rarely prescribes Valium because it is addicting, but Xanax has a potential for addiction. He prescribed Alprazolam over Diazepam, he said its more effective and less addicting.

Valium i dont think is very addicting....

I would think Xanax is more addicting.

What does anyone think?
