Like this is a fair comparison as a poor representation of hard to treat depressives. Jerry I whole heartedly agree that we need more agents in the arsenal instead of more me-too ssris' I also doubt that very many people that this study pulled in to the"remission " standards of these wise researchers, are spending any time here on PB. Just my take. Depression is Depression. But un-resolved and colmplicated depression and the sub-set of the bi-polar spectrum are HELL. However SSRI's are just that SSRI's.Most of us here, know that. I am glad for the people who had MD's and or Pdocs who had enough sense to swith thier paitents AD's and or augment them for these so called wonderful results. What is wrong with this whole picture. Even our media is duped. How could ABC be so witty as to let that segment run. I post-poned a much needed nap to view that medical-media masterpiece. Thanks all for letting me rant
