The conservative approach is to wait 2 weeks after taking your last dose of Effexor before beginning Nardil.

I have managed to discontinue Effexor 300mg within 2 weeks using a flexible-dosing strategy. There are other strategies, including a temporary cross-over to Prozac. Check out the PB Withdrawal board for suggestions on how to minimize withdrawal symptoms.
