hey! I think there are "suggested upper-limits"--the FDA recommends 40mgs/day for ADHD, 60mgs/day for narcolepsy--but I don't think docs actually follow those; individuals vary wildly. A friend of mine takes 120mgs of adderall per day for ADD. The limits of stimulant intake are decided more by your doc's preferences and your responses than any set-in-stone rules.
These seems odd but..maybe adding ritalin (low-dose) would help? Sometimes mixing the stimulants does more than just upping one of them to the max. Switching to Desoxyn (methamphetamine) could minimize side effects, since its more potent and lower doses=fewer side effects for a lot of people.
