> QUESTION: Do you have any problems with sexual dysfunction while taking Klonopin? I am considering trying this benzo or Nardil if there is not a problem with sexual dysfunction. I too have SP and GAD; currently taking Effexor 225mg, which definitely effects my libido. I do not know which is worse SP or NO Orgasm. Thanks.
Benzo's like klonopin are not known for sexual side effects. If anything my libido has improved as I'm not nearly as stressed. One of the reasons I tried klonopin instead of Nardil is that Nardil has a strong profile of sexual side effects.
Those two meds seem to bee the gold standard meds if your primary disorter is SP so if a benzo doesn't work, many go to Nardil even with the side effects and food restrictions. I hear in time some of the side effects with Nardil can lesson, but I've never tried it (but would have if klonopin didn't work).
All I can say is that klonopin has worked great for me when nothing else I tried did. Before klonopin I was unemployed as I could not handle being around people. After 12 years of being on it I own a small business with 25 employed. I could have never done that without klonopin.
Good luck!
