For my adult ADD:
Ritalin (any form) caused anxiety; wore off too quickly, even extended release forms; moodinessAdderall worked pretty well, relatively low dose; lasted a few hours longer than Ritalin with fewer mood swings when wearing off.
Provigil though not technically for ADD, I experienced significant cognitive improvements while on it.
Focalin is what I am currently prescribed. Extended release, lasts all day until around 8ish. Is said to cause moodiness when it wears off but I haven't noticed that. Am on lowest dose which works fine. No anxiety.
> Adderall is much more stimuating in terms of its "I" isomer of amphetamine, rather than dexedrine with only the 'd' isomer which is the more active.
