If it were me, I would not discredit the usefulness of the Lex.... yet. I have found one of the traps (there are many) of having a mood disorder is not keeping in mind that sometimes I get in a "funk". It's just "normal" for me. I sometimes need to look at factors that contribute to that - life stressors, (for me) perimenopausal issues....
If you have had a changeup of life or even added a new med, that could factor in as opposed to a lack of the Lex "working". I suggest talking with your doc - dosage adjustment might be needed. You have gotten through the initial startup and I found even when I upped the dose on Lex the adjustment was fast and not as intense as startup. The increased dose works well for me and seems to be what I need.
I'm not trying to say that maybe you aren't experiencing a lack of response, but maybe give it a little more time? That's a scary prospect for most of us as I know I have a tendency to respond at every "bump" awith a: "Oh, NOOOO..." and think it's a return of the awful times. I have had that not be the case. It was just a "bump in the road" that was temporary.
Thoughts to you......
