> Jayhey im on wellbutrin too and i know what you're feeling. wellbutrin got me out of bed and functional again, and also helped me emotionally with my depression, but once my dosage hit 300 xl, the panic attacks set in. i would also get hysterically upset and angry.
one thing you can do is talk to your doc about getting some benzos- i take klonopin as needed, so if you are really high up there it will calm you down. but its only for like panic episodes so if you're feeling constant anxiety or anger its not a permanent fix.
if wellbutrin really is so bad for you, you might consider switching all together, either to an SSRI or SNRI- i can't take either class of antidepressants (lexapro put me in the hospital and effexor almost did but i got off it just in time). but if you haven't tried them yet its definitely worth it.
the last thing you might want to consider is augmenting with a mood stabilizer- i'm actually seeing my doc on monday and they're probably going to add on either trileptal or lamictal. yes, mood stabilizers are normally for bipolar but apparently these drugs both have good antidepressant effects. i'm also hoping they're going to even out my mood. so i don't know from personal experience if this is going to help but i have my fingers crossed.
sorry this is a bit long but hope you find some of the info useful! good luck and let me know how it works out.
