I don't know about it's effect on the menses cycle, as I've gone through menopause. (Skippee dippee doo!!!!) For those of you who are in the throes of menopause, or lucky like me to be done with it, make sure you are taking hormone replacement therapy. If not, the Effexor will worsen the symptoms. As soon as I got back on it, the night sweats and the restlessness went completely away. Now, if I could just sleep through the night. *sigh*
