One of my aunts, dead now, took a decent scotch every morning for quite a while when going through a bad patch. Only one, she said, but she wouldn't have had any Adderall. She sailed boats, all sorts of things. I think she told me this when I was 20 to try to give me a more balanced perspective, amid the hue and cry over drugs.
