Either one. Best bet would be to try to get a sample of each and test them yourself to see which you like better.

I started on 2.5mg zyprexa 5 years ago. Increased to 5mg after a few months. Had the best sleep of my life. Any daytime sedation was pretty much gone in about a week or two. It took 5 years, but finally the good effects and the sedation pooped out on me. Am in the process of weaning off it without any probs so far.

Have also tried seroquel. It put me to sleep fine, but did not give me a full night's sleep like zyprexa did. Unlike zyprexa, seroquel causes some norepinephrine release, which seemed to wake me up very early. The morning dry mouth was intense.

I would say try one of them on one night, skip a night, try the other the next night, and then decide for yourself which one to fine tune.

Lunesta, if you haven't tried it, is worth a shot. I found ambien and the others pretty weak, but lunesta works better than the others for me.
