I actually can tolerate a 200mg dose no problem whatsoever. Note that this was after I worked up to it, though.

When I first startd the parnate I started right off at 0.7mg/kg, and my BP was arond 160 for a few days until it settled down.

I promise you that if you can push the tranylcypromine to at least 120mg/day (150mg-200mg is more robust), there will be a point at which the sedation is overcome by stimulation. Also, at the high doses TCP downregulates 5ht2, while at normal doses it doesn't. This provides an additional anti-anxiety effect.
