yup. benzos and other sedatives in general can worsen or cause depressive episodes. Among the benzos, klonopin is probably one of the worst offenders. Maybe you could switch? Librium or Tranxene could work just as well with lower risks of causing these problems...Tranxene can actually help a bit when you're depressed.
