I think I know what you are talking about.
I took Klonopin for a while (few months) and then weaned off a few months back.
Because of all the asthma inhalors I'm on, they cause anxiety (more physical than mental- shaking, heart rate, etc..). Anyway, so this last week, I started my Klonopin again.
The first 20-30 minutes after it hits me, I feel calm but then I feel strange almost like I have a fever. It makes me feel very groggy and gives me a drugged feeling (which I don't like).
It does help me sleep but I don't like that feeling of almost "malaise" that I get with it. It's strange.
I'm only taking .35 mg's a day- I'm too worried about going over that although my dr. prescribed .5 mg's twice a day for me.
Have you tried any other benzo? Xanex helped me the most with panic attacks but I haven't taken it in a while.
