> JochenMight wanna research the archives,i cant recomend this directly to u as it is technicaly contradicted,BUT quite a few people have switched over without a washout.
SSri to maoi is def something u wanna washout from, and even with maois nardil might be a problem.
Parnate however is now being considered reversable, parnate states its effect wears off in a couple of days, but a direct effect seems to be dependent on daily dosing, and usualy in 4-5 hours a DIRECT effect isnt there.
What im saying basicaly is most people dont have a problem switching from parnate to nardil with little washout perhaps a day.
One benifit i personaly can vouche for in doing this is,nardil unlike parnate takes a lil time to work,so if u washout from parnate, high proability is u will hit a W/D,you will feel very lousy period and it will be that much hard to tolerate nardil or any other med that doesent bring IMMEDIATE reliaf since ur in a W/D.
Switching while ur in a somewhat stable state from parnate as in a few peoples case i know of might make the transition less difficult.
Id read some of chairmans posts who did just that,as well as a few other archived posts to see if u might wanna try this,as well as see that ur doc thinks.
Also before anyone says anything, lol do a search for keywords parnate, reversable and u will see some data sheets are now stating parnate is believed to be reversable.
