Yes, although its potential might be optimized by the coadministration of a traditional antidepressant.

A friend of mine experienced an immediate antidepressant effect from even low dosages of Seroquel when it was mixed with Wellbutrin. She has settled on Seroquel 700mg + Wellbutrin 300mg + Lamictal 150mg and is doing quite well. Seroquel does not seem to poop-out for her. She has been on it for 2 years.
