Tyramine content of certain foods is VERY variable eg. one batch of cheese might be very low in tyramine and the next batch might be very high in tyramine. Perhaps you ate something which had more tyramine than would be expected.
It might be useful to get a pill to take for hypertension. You could ask your doc about nifedipine. Unlike Thorazine, it won't make you lactate :-) You'd need to get a BP monitor though- if you don't have one already.
