Hi people,
I discovered this place last summer when things were really bad - you guys were great with advice and support. I had bipolar depression - SLS was very helpfull, among others. Well, after a three year episode, and 6/last 8 years basically disabled, I am practically fully recovered. With Lithium as my base, along with a bit (2.5) of zyprexa and 200 lamicatal, - effexor was added (112.5) and that did it. I feel fine, and I am ready to use my BS degree and pick up my life again.
There were no shortcuts, - many many medication trials - nothing would work, - but then gradually, things came together. Countless nights out of control, crying, perservering through it all, thinking I would never be cured. I worked as a bike courier for years cause it was the only thing I could do, coming home every night in a painfull depression. But its over. You just have to hang in there and make it through the day sometimes, but have faith - there is a solution. -Mike634
