Ok Bill,

I am going to try this response one more time.
This time is shorter though, hope it posts this time.

You talked about the Concerta and the Toprol.
I had only taken the Concerta about a week and then went in the hospital with pneumonia.
I was pleased with the results of the Concerta and hopefully will be able to continue using it.
During my hospital stay they discovered an enlargment in my heart and after my discharge I went to a cardiologist who discovered I have mitral valve prolapse and borderline high blood pressure. He prescribed Toprol XR 25MG. This takes care of the blood pressure and also has elimnated the palpations I was experiencing.
I want to start back on the Concerta but was not sure because of the elevated blood pressure.
I possibly will start a new job before I return to the cardiologist so the Concerta would help if I could start taking it again.
Anyone have suggestions. Also Bill, I was wondering if your palpatations could be the same thing. Anyways, advice or personal experience would be appreciated.

SusanLily
