Not confusing at all. I'm glad I tried a stimulant while off all other meds. It's amazing how pdocs can diagnose and not listen to their patients. My pdoc always said a stimulant would send me into anxiety hell. My regular doc agreed to let me try and here I sit, wanting to write a nasty letter to my pdoc and tell her she was WRONG! It is confusing though because I do have some anxiety symptoms and checking behavior, but stims do not make it worse.Dr. Amen said in one of his books that many people with alcoholic tendencies do well on a combo of something for OCD and a stimulant. It's making more sense now that I think about it. I should have paid more attention to his book and saved $$$$$$ from my overpriced pdoc.
