Re: SSRI's decreased libido

The ED drugs such as Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra work well for men on SSRI's for ED problems, but I don't know if it helps with libido.

SSRI's have sexual side effects for most people. Probably around 80%. The only antidepressants that I can think of that don't are Wellbutrin and Remeron, but they also have their own issues.

I awitched from Lexapro to Cymbalta a few months ago. Unfortunatley, Cymbalta also has sexual side effects, but it seems to be not as bad.

You might want to try to augment or replace Lexapro with Wellbutrin or augment with Ritalin. Augmenting with Remeron or Buspar helps some people.

> I've been taking Lexapro for the last 18 months or so for depression & social anxiety. The results vis-a-vis depression have mostly been good, but my libido has decreased to almost zero. Are there other meds or med combinations that have fewer side effects like this?
