I agree about the sodium. That is why I suggested a dash of salt with the Tegretol. It helped me. I know that Trileptal can lower your sodium level so perhaps Tegretol does the same since they essentially have the same properties (trileptal just has an oxygen atom attached to it).
Try the salt lick until you can get some tests done.
Hang in there my Alien friend. :-) If things don't work out with the Tegretol try Trileptal.
Thinking of you way over here ... where toilets flush in the other direction. :0
