Help, eating out ethnic on Nardil

Hi folks,
I'm attending a dinner at a middle Eastern/mediterranean restaurant in a few weeks. Any specific recommendations for what might be safe to order. I have no idea about this type of food. I'm not a big ethnic food eater, so I don't even know what might be on the menu.

Help this novice please!
